Overlay Placement

You can configure overlay placement in two ways: Automatic (InkSoft Print Regions) or Manual (inside the CazRom plugin).

Method 1: Automatic (Use InkSoft Print Regions)

1. Open CazRom settings
   In your WordPress dashboard, go to CazRom → General Settings.

2. Enable print-region placement
   Find “Use Print Regions Overlay Placement?” and set it ON.

3. Save
   Click Save.

4. Rebuild the cache
   Go to CazRom → Cache Settings and click Build/Refresh All Cache.

5. Verify the result
   Reload a product page and check the overlay alignment.

6. If overlays look off
   It’s likely the print region in InkSoft is misaligned.

   • In InkSoft, open that product’s settings.

   • Adjust the print region to the correct position/size.

   • Back in WordPress, Build/Refresh All Cache again.

   • Reload the product page to confirm the fix.

Method 2: Manual (Adjust in CazRom)

Use this if you want full control or aren’t using InkSoft print regions.

1. Turn off print-region placement
   Go to CazRom → General Settings, set “Use Print Regions Overlay Placement?” to OFF, and Save.

2. Clear previously cached print-region data (if you had it ON before)
   Go to CazRom → Cache Settings and click Build/Refresh All Cache.

3. Open the manual placement tool
   Go to CazRom → Overlay Placement.

4. Find your product
   Use the search to look up the product by InkSoft Product ID
   (you can find this ID in the product’s InkSoft URL after the product name).

5. Position the overlay
   Adjust the overlay to the exact spot. (You can scale it, move it vertically, and/or horizontally)

6. Optionally disable the overlay for a product
   Click Toggle Overlay to turn the overlay off for specific products.

7. Save your changes
   When finished, Save. If you want to propagate changes, use the advanced options below.

Advanced options (at the bottom of the Overlay Placement page)

• Save current as new fallback setting
  Applies the current product’s adjustments to all products that don’t already have manual adjustments.

• Reset all settings and use current as new fallback setting
  Clears all existing product overrides and makes the current product’s adjustments the global default for every product.
