Managing InkSoft Products/Categories

Follow the steps below to make sure your InkSoft categories and products sync correctly with your website using the CazRom plugin.


đź”· Categories Setup

  1. Log in to InkSoft
    Go to your InkSoft Dashboard.

  2. Navigate to Categories
    Hover over "Products" and click "Product Categories".

  3. Manage Categories

    • Organize your Categories/Subcategories and adjust their hierarchy/order.

    • Note: The order you set here determines how they appear in your Auto Mega Menu on the site.

  4. Understand Category Scope

    • InkSoft categories are account-wide, not store-specific.

    • You’ll be able to select which categories to display on your site using the "Categories" page in the CazRom plugin.

  5. Ensure Categories Are Populated

    • Categories will only appear in the CazRom plugin if they contain products.

  6. Select Categories in CazRom

    • In your WordPress dashboard, go to the CazRom plugin > Categories page.

    • Select the categories you want to include on your site and click Save.


🛍️ Products Setup

  1. Refresh Product Cache When Changes Are Made
    Any time you make one of the following changes in InkSoft, refresh the product cache in the CazRom plugin to reflect the updates on your website:

    • Add or delete products

    • Edit product details (title, description, options, etc.)

    • Assign or un-assign products from categories

    • Add or remove design ideas or design idea categories

  2. Troubleshooting Missing Products
    If a product isn’t showing up on your site, check the following in the InkSoft Product Settings:

    • âś… Product is active

    • âś… Product is assigned to the correct store (the one connected to your WordPress site)

    • âś… Product is assigned to the correct category/sub-category

    • âś… Product has active print regions and at least one decoration method selected (under the “Decoration” tab)

  3. Final Step: Refresh the Cache

    • Go to the CazRom plugin in your WordPress dashboard and refresh the product cache.

  4. Still Not Showing?
    If all the above is confirmed and the product still isn’t loading, please contact CazRom support for assistance.
